Its the week before Christmas and its eerily frantic in Princes Street, Edinburgh. It might be a Crunch Christmas for most but people are doing their best to give retail its best ever boost. I've been up in town on both days last weekend; once to finish off the Christmas shopping and once to sample delights of George Street and to enjoy some Christmas Cheer.
Glasgow is just as busy with Buchanan Street thronging with people. I did some shopping in Princes Square during the week and there's no doubt its got class but for variety, the Winter Wonderland and the German Market in Edinburgh wins hands down in my book.
